What is faux fur made of?
Our faux fur is made of 100% Modacrylic.
Modacrylic is a synthetic copolymer that is softer, stronger, a better insulator of heat, and allows for a more realistic fur than any material on the planet. It is considered the premier material for faux fur, far surpassing Polyester blends or standard Acrylic fibres.
Combined with a state of the art dying process, our fur is quite simply the best in the market.
Does faux fur shed like the real thing?
Our Faux fur is extremely strong and will not shed, unlike real fur which is prone to shedding.
Why faux fur and not the real stuff?
Our faux fur throws are of a superb quality and almost identical to the real thing. With developments in faux fur fabrication over time, and with the finest material in modacrylic, our artificial fur is just as fashionable, cosy and luxurious as the real thing – and in many ways the end product surpasses real fur equivalents.
What’s more, the world’s wolves, bears and foxes get to keep their coats too!
Are your throws washable?
Yes! Our throws can be hand washed, or machine washed at 30°C. Do not tumble dry.
What sizes do your throws come in?
All our classic throws come in three sizes: Regular, Large, and Extra large. For more information and to get an idea of scale, please refer to our size-guide.
Are your faux fur throws flame retardant?
Because they are made from 100% Modacrylic artificial fur with a polyester backing, our throws should be fire retardant. However this is not a guarantee and it is still advisable that your throws are kept well away from naked flames, candles and fireplaces.
Delivery
Where is my order?
You should receive an automated email confirming your order, and shortly after an email notifying you of delivery. Most of our deliveries are sent via Royal Mail, and you can use our automated system to track your order.

What courier do you use for deliveries?
We use Royal Mail to send your order.
I haven’t received a dispatch email/email confirmation
Please be aware an automated email is sent to you at the given email address when your order is dispatched. You can also track your order.
If you haven’t received anything within 48 hours, please check your spam folder. If you still can’t find it, simply email us at contact@fenrirthrows.com with your order details, and we will be there to assist you in no time.
Can I collect from a local store?
We don’t offer a reserve and collect service currently. Our purchases are online only and delivered to your chosen address.
Is it possible to change the address/cancel or amend my order?
Due to the high volume of orders we receive, we have an automatic invoicing system. For any changes to your order, please email us immediately at contact@fenrirthrows.com
If your order has not yet been sent we will amend your order. If it is not possible, we will advise you on the next steps.
Returns
How do I return an order?
Our throws are of the highest quality, but if you decide upon receipt that it’s just not what you were expecting – that’s fine too!
Contact us at contact@fenrirthrows.com, quoting your name, order number and address. We’ll be in touch to help out as soon as we can. We aim to respond to all queries within 24 hours.
Returns must be in the state you received them, and in the original packaging. We will then arrange a full refund. Whilst we offer free outbound shipping, we do not cover the cost of returns postage.
How long will it be before I get a refund?
Once we receive your item(s) back, our returns department will inspect the goods. Pending these checks, an automated refund is generated on our system and then processed back to your original payment method. This process typically takes 5-7 working days.
