The Grey Mountain Wolf, also known as the Rocky Mountain wolf, is a subspecies of the grey wolf that is found in western North America. They have a mottled grey coat with warm hues and wisps of white – as if to camouflage against the misty mountains they inhabit. They are skilled hunters and prey on a variety of animals, including deer, elk, and bighorn sheep.
